Have you ever wanted to write your own book. Barnes and Noble have given you a chance. You may author and illustrate your book and email it to friends, teachers or me...all for free. You'll have to pay for the book if you want a hard copy though. Click on Start your Book and get going. Take your time and read the directions carefully and you will be fine. I'm anxious to see some of your completed projects!

Click on this link to find a thesarus. All you do is add a word and click search. You'll get a synonyms, antonyms and rhymes to use in your writing.

Need a Dictionary?
Here's a neat trick to find definitions of words. Go to Google and type in define: then the word you are defining. Click search and the definition will be right under the search box!
Plagiarism
If you need to understand plagiarism, this is a great interactive site that gives you the ins and outs of research and plargarism. It is written for older students however it seems to fit middle students as well.
